About me

My name is Mikko Vaitti. I do web analytics consultation and development, meaning

I plan, implement and fix web analytics systems.

I also teach people how to get up and down rock and ice walls safely, but that's another story.

Some history

• 1994

  Built my first websites.

• 2004-2010

  Freelanced as part-time and small-scale static front-end developer, doing some graphic design at times.

• 2005-2010

  Did a Bachelor's degree in the Helsinki School of Economics, started on a Master's in the Turku School of Economics.

• 2011

  Started working in digital marketing full-time. First search, social media and display advertising in a few different agencies, then became more and more focused on analytics.

• 2021

  Went freelance, to fully focus on web analytics, on my own terms.

• 2024

  Still learning the basics of web development, as you might notice from this SvelteKit project that you're looking at.
